1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tumakr ("we", "our", or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Tumakr is a travel platform that connects travelers with curated Korean tour experiences, including private and group tours, AI-powered travel planning, and booking management services. We act as an intermediary between travelers and tour guides/operators.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Bookings and Payments

  • All tour bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the tour operator.
  • Prices are displayed in the currency indicated and may be subject to applicable taxes and fees.
  • Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider (PayPal). We do not store your full payment details.
  • A booking is confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of a confirmation email.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before the tour date are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made 3-6 days before the tour date are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before the tour date are not eligible for a refund.
  • If Tumakr or the tour operator cancels a tour, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
  • Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

6. User Conduct

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information in your account or bookings.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Harass, threaten, or behave inappropriately toward tour guides, staff, or other users.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of Tumakr or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Tumakr acts as a platform connecting travelers with tour operators and is not directly responsible for the conduct of tour guides or operators.
  • We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in any tour booked through the Service.
  • We recommend that travelers obtain appropriate travel insurance before participating in any tour.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tumakr's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.
